The young man in this photo,Arthur Brown, is still alive and living at this time in the country near Tarnagulla. His is my father's old friend and they both worked at carter bros in the 50s. My father, Malcolm Macaffer, and I have just written a short article about his time working at carter bros that we hope will be published in the Essendon Historical Society's newsletter next year. The Carter Bros number one shop was in Puckle Street Moonee Ponds.
