- This photograph shows Pablo Diaz's 7th birthday party, with his friends, Footscray, 1980. This photograph was taken by Pablo's mother Alicia Diaz, in the dining room of their family home. The Diaz family had been in Australia for six years, having emigrated from Chile to escape the regime there. Alicia remembers that Pablo liked Sesame Street, so she got him Sesame Street placemats for the party. Alicia coordinated the cups: green for boys and pink for girls. Most of these boys still live in Yarraville.
