- This photograph shows Pablo Diaz's 4th birthday party at Footscray Day Nursery, 1977. His mother Alicia was doing an intensive English course in Collins street, and Pablo needed care at creche. The tradition was that the child whose birthday it was, would be 'King for the day' and wore a crown and a cape. Alicia was able to be there to take this photograph on his special day. The Diaz family had newly emigrated from Chile to escape the political regime there.
