Colour photograph showing Pablo and Pamela Diaz, and Maureen and Raphael Poncell playing 'ring a ring a rosies' at the Poncell's house in Alphington. This photograph was taken for Maureen Poncell's 2nd birthday, in April 1980. Maureen and Pamela were playmates.

The Poncell and the Diaz families were very close - they had met at Midway Migrant Hostel after emigrating from Chile in 1974. The Diaz family - Eduardo, Alicia, Pablo and Pamela - later moved to their first home in Hyve Street Footscray, which they shared with friends.

Hello, just I would like to say that person appear has wrong lastname. I'm talking about Mr. Alberto Purcel. Here appear with Poncell. Please check the mistake. Regards from Chile!

Hi, My grandfathers name is incorrect but it is his first name that is wrong, not his surname. His Name is Rafael Poncell.
