This photograph shows Todorce Spasevski as the best man in a wedding, and the groom, and other members of the family, Thomastown, 1971. Todorce Spasevski is holding a live chicken, which he will be taking to the bride's house to kill in honour of her as a virgin. This is a Macedonian custom.
