Digital Photograph - Two Women on Rocks by Rock Pool, Port Phillip Bay, circa 1920
Reg. No: MM 110996
- Description Of Content:
- Two women on rocks by rock pool. One is carrying her hat and standing, the other is wearing hers and sitting on a rock.
This photograph shows two women on sea cliffs, probably on the back beach of Sorrento, circa 1920. Not much is know by the family about this photograph. Adrian Holloway and his mother Elizabeth Holloway, and probably his two sisters went on an outing on one of the Port Phillip ferries, either the 'Hygeia', 'Weeroona' or 'Ozone', probably to Sorrento, in the 1920s. It is believed by the family that the two women are Holloway family members. They are possibly Adrian's sisters, but their names are unknown. - Acquisition Information:
