- Four girls in swimming costumes in shallow water. Two are sitting in the water and two are standing.
This photograph shows Jeanette Veronica Brady and her friends (names unknown), probably at St Kilda Beach, circa 1910. Jeanette was the youngest of thirteen children. According to the family: 'The Brady's moved between Carlton, Collingwood and Fitzroy. Jeanette's father had been a goldminer up in the Buckland valley but was unsuccessful. Jeanette worked as a dress-maker prior to her marriage.' - Acquisition Information:
