This photograph shows Margaret Hogarty, dressed for her First Holy Communion, in Williamstown, 1929. Her First Communion took place in St Mary's Catholic Church Williamstown. She was eight years old. According to her daughter Elizabeth Kelly, Margaret was born in Dublin, she came to Australia when she was 1 1/2, one of seven children. - Acquisition Information:
