Two women in hats with mesh veils, and long dresses and bare feet, holding their dresses up and standing in shallow water at the beach.

This photograph shows Charlotte Wilson and her friend Annie 'going for a paddle' on the beach at Queenscliff, February 1923. A group of friends and family travelled annually from Ballarat to Queenscliff for a beach holiday. They would drive there in a horse and gig, and rent a beach house. Annie's surname is unknown.
