Would love to be in touch with any other staff members from the late 60's....the band who played there most nights in those days ,other than the Vibrants was the "" Beavers"" a South Australian band, who were just fantastic...

My name is Lindy & I happen to be Eddie Floyd's daughter, the manager of Winston Charles at the time, & also 10th Avenue. I also have alot of photo's from Winston Charles, that you most likely took Pamela, of the bands & the staff & I also have alot of memorabilia in the form of menu's, flyers & newspaper clippings from both venues as well as Pinocchio's Resturant :)

P.S Col Jones was the other manager of Winston Charles. If this site is interested in any more photo's etc from any of the above mentioned restaurants, I'm happy to help out, I have many photo's of people & bands that played there in the late 60's early 70's such as The Levi Smith's Clefs, The Groove, Strangers, Grantly Dee with Boston, The Bee Gees, The Tamlas, Blackout, The Questions, The Cricket, Little River Band, Frank Trainers Jazz Band, The Vibrants, Laurie Allan Band, The Freeways as well as pictures of Billy Thorpe, Liza Minnelli, Peter Allan... the list goes on :)

I played there, in The Vibrants, from '67-'73.
Great time was had by all, I can tell you. I still have really close friends I met there.
