This photograph shows the Imperial flag on the Japanese warship 'Asama', probably berthed at Princes Pier, Port Melbourne, February 1924. The photograph was taken by Ronald Cheers, who along with thousands of others visited these naval ships during their stay in Port Melbourne. - Acquisition Information:
