This stereograph shows a group of men and women amongst tree ferns in temperate forest, at Mount Baw Baw, circa 1900. There are more men than women, and one of the women may be carrying a parasol. This stereograph came from a collection of Melba Ryan's grandparents, Josephine and Martin Nowlan. A lot of them were bought around Federation as souvenirs. They were passed down to Melba's mother, Doris Holden, who passed them down to her.
