This is one of 959 photographs (or images) of the Exhibition Building collated by the Exhibition Trustees as a 10 volume pictorial history of the Exhibition Building spanning the years 1880 to 1985. The pictorial history was instigated by the centenary of the Exhibition Building in 1980 and forms part of a larger Royal Exhibition Building collection of documents, photographs, objects and research files. - Description:

- View within the Media Centre in the Western Annexe, Royal Exhibition Building, during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting held at the Royal Exhibition Building in 1981. Several desks in the foreground are partioned in by red walls, creating an office bay. Several figures are working at their desks. In the background, numerous figures are present within the Centre. A distinctive feature are the coat stands that can be seen interspersed across the Centre.
