This interview is part of the Victorian Bushfires Collection and is complemented by artefacts collected from the the McIlvena's property.
Description Of Content:
This interview covers Bob and Ercil's experiences in fighting the "fire tsunami" with buckets of water; no external water supply; their physical and emotional exhaustion from heat, smoke and stress. Bob also discusses his many years of research into the water supply in the Wimmera region.
