- Patch presented in 2008 by the Berriwillock Women on Farms Gathering committee for the Women on Farms Gathering perpetual banner. The theme for the Berriwillock Gathering was 'Back to Basics: Women Opening the Gates to Agriculture.' The patch is now attached to the perpetual banner extension which is used at the Gathering each year.
- Description:
- Unbleached calico patchwork square comprising three panels, top and bottom panels have printed wheat motifs in green and brown tones respectively, central panel is hand painted calico depicting fence, open gates and a windmill. Painted black text reads 'Back to Basics at Berriwillock / 2008 / Women opening the gates to Agriculture'. The top and central panels are printed depicting wheat and separated by a strip of dark green woven fabric. A mottled brown strip of woven fabric separates the central and bottom panels.
