Statement Of Significance:
In the wake of the devastating 2009 bushfires, authorities warned that the 2009-2010 season could be as bad or even worse than the previous summer. Bushfires on the scale of Black Saturday did not eventuate, but this badge signifies the nervous anticipation of another disaster.
