Bulldog Clip - Newmarket Saleyards, Newmarket, pre 1987 Object Reg. No: HT 27694

"Bulldog" style clip used on the notice board at the Newmarket Saleyards. Also used to hold live weight tickets in the stock pens. Used on masonite notice board hung in Administration Offices at Newmarket Saleyards.
Large sized "bulldog" style clip made from a rectangular sheet of springy steel curved into a cylinder, with two flat steel strips inserted to form combined handles and jaws. The handles are pressed to form a pattern of lines that appear as if they are twisted together.
