Cut-away promotional model of the fuselage of a Qantas Lockheed L-1049C Super Constellation airliner. Carries the civil aircraft registration VH-EAG. This aircraft was the first Super Constellation delivered to Qantas in 1954 and was retired in 1963. Its last flight in Qantas service was a charter service bringing migrants from Malta in April 1963.
Fibreglass model painted white, red and black standing on cast metal base. There are no wings and the tail section is painted with the Qantas Flying Kangaroo and the Australian flag.
