The two women are Rene [wife of George) and Alexandra (wife of Nick) and their children Tino, Sia and Netta. The brothers first migrated to Australia from Patras, Greece in the 1920s. Nick went back to Greece during the interwar period and when he returned to Australia with his wife and daughter in 1943, he brought with him a trunk, also in the Museum's collection.
