Scrapbook that was compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 85 archival items produced 1964-67.

The contents include advertising proofs and promotional leaflets for Kodak products. The products and subjects include cameras, movie cameras, camera outfits, projectors, photographic film, Kodak photo greeting cards, slide projectors, photographic slides and hand viewers.

Advertising proofs for the sporting magazines usually refer to similar Kodak products, but relate to their various sporting audiences with specific tag-lines. Examples of these include: 'Make a catch in pictures, too!' targeted at outdoor & fishing sports and 'Stay with the action... A Kodak 8 Movie Camera catches all the colour, vigour and speed of water-skiing.' Advertising clippings from the Pacific Island magazines and newspapers generally refer to Kodak gift ideas and Christmas gift campaigns.

Australia Outdoors, Bulletin, Handbook of Papua and New Guinea, Hoofs and Horns, Island Press, Modern Motor, New Guinea Times Courier, Pacific Islands Monthly, Seacraft, South Pacific Bulletin, South Pacific Post, Sunday Telegraph Photo Supplement, Surfing World and Victorian Surfer Magazine.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Large paper rectangular scrapbook with 93 paper pages plus paper front and back cover, bound with tape, containing press advertisement and advertising proofs. Cover is blue/purple cardboard, inside pages are grey paper. Inside clippings are all black and white printed on thin white card or white paper. Some are adhered with glue, most are adhered with tape. Pages are un-numbered with a number of blank pages in the middle of the book. The promotional materials range in size from 237 x 158 mm to 457 x 256 mm.
