Scrapbook that was compiled by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd. It contains approximately 96 archival items produced between 1965 -1971.

The archival items include promotional clippings and advertisement proofs for Kodak products. The products and subjects include magnetic film, photographic films, photographic papers, recording tape, slide projectors, sound recording tape.

Advertising slogans include ?Who brings out the best in your leading lady?? and ?Add the magic of sound to your 8mm movies ? use your projector with a tape recorder and ? KODAK SOUND RECORDING TAPE!? Amongst the material in this scrapbook are articles produced by Kodak discussing technical aspects of photography and how Kodak products are best suited for various topics. Subjects include ?Signal-to-noise ratios, saturation output and uniformity,? ?Sitting accuracy and skew angle,? ?Sensitivity, Frequency response and Kodak Sound Recording Tape,?

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Large paper rectangular scrapbook, containing 102 paper pages bound with 5 metal staples covered by a strip of card, containing press advertisements. Clippings mostly glued in with adhesive tape.

The promotional materials range in size from 127 mm (W) x 193 mm (H) to 257 mm (W) x 310 mm (H). There is a typed index page on the inside of the front cover, relating to the names of the periodicals advertising proofs have been taken from. Pages are individually numbered in blue ink.
