Dress - Prue Acton, Evening Mini, Black Rayon, circa 1965 Object Reg. No: SH 942002

According to donor, this is a very early evening dress produced in Melbourne for Prue Acton P/L by dress maker Eileen Lorraine.
Long sleeved black rayon mini dress over polyester lining. Sleeves are transparent. Ruffles at neckline and cuffs, with fabric flower at front neck. Dress has a large hand-sewn hem and is zip-fastened at the back. Woven labels are sewn inside back of neckline.
