Dress - Prue Acton, Black Wool, 1980 Object Reg. No: SH 942082

This outfit was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1980. It was worn by the donor with a reptile skin belt (SH 942083) and shoes (SH 942084) to accept her `Advance Australia' Award in 1980 (SH 942239.) It was also worn by a model for Prue Acton's 25th Anniversary Parade in 1988. The reptile trim seen on this dress was an earlier version of the `Mock Croc' theme developed in 1986.
Black wool crepe dress with reptile skin decorative trim at neck and cuffs. Dress is mid-calf in length and has long sleeves and padded shoulders. Fastened at back with zip.
