- This belt was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1984, by company designer Maree Menzel. It was worn by the donor with the `Concorde' ensemble (SH 942111) to the 1984 Melbourne Cup.
Prue Acton's Melbourne Cup clothing was specially designed for her to draw attention to Australian designers and in particular her forthcoming winter range.
- Belt in navy and white gro-grain panels decorated with navy and white stitching. Belt is straight at the sides then peaks up to a point in the centre. Fastened at back with velcro strips.
