The booklet was issued by the Agua Caliente Jockey Club to promote the 1931-1932 racing season, including the running of the Agua Caliente Handicap in March, 1932, which was Phar Lap's last race. It belonged to the family of his trainer Harry Telford family, and was amongst a number of items donated to the museum by them in the 1990s. - Description:
- Rectangular booklet, consisting of twenty seven double sided glossy pages, printed on both sides with extensive black text, photographs and diagrams. The pages are bound with two glossy paper covers by three metal staples. In later years the binding has been reinforced with sewn red thread.
The booklet has been annotated on several pages, including a reference of Phar Lap races at Agua Caliente on page 5. Walter Dupee, one of the Agua Caliente Jockey Club Board of Governors, has signed the booklet on page 3. - Acquisition Information:
