The eighty-page publication was produced as a photographic memento of the visit to Melbourne by George - later King George V of England - and his wife May, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York. The opening photographs include full-length portraits of their Royal Highness The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York across pages 4-5 respectively, as well as His Excellency, The Earl of Hopetoun, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and his wife, Her Excellency The Countess of Hopetoun. There is also a double portrait of the Duke and Duchess on page 21. - Description:
- Soft-covered book with green binding, stapled in three places, containing 80 pages. Photos are framed with scrolls & decorative borders. Front cover, LR corner, depicts a photograph of an outdoor Australian scene, with a stream and eucalyptus in soft green-grey hues. Celtic scrolls in gold decorate the cover.
