- This red silk ribbon was produced by the Victorian Railways Daily Paid Employees Union to commemorate the visit to Victoria of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York in 1901. The image includes a crown, a shield with five stars, the heads of the Duke and Duchess, and text. It was manufactured in 1901.
The donor indicated that the ribbon once belonged to Andrew King, who was a Ganger on the railways (Way and Works Branch). King retired in 1943, and died in 1958 at the age of 80. - Description:
