Architectural model of the Miles House, Beach Road, Brighton, Victoria. Designed by Chancellor and Patrick, and built in 1965.

The model was made by James Swansson (of Chancellor and Patrick) in 1989. It was donated to Museum Victoria for the exhibition 'Home Sweet Home : Changes in Victorian Domestic Architecture, 1839 - 1989'.
The model depicts a large and lavish house with flat roof, floor to ceiling windows, elevated living rooms, slim grey bricks, generous car parking spaces.

Museum Victoria Comment
We own the Miles House which was displayed at the MPG gallery for Chancellor & Patrick, which was apparently in the State Library. The House is in Hampton please make contact I have all original drawings etc, and we named our son after the House.
