Trunk - Ammunition Chest, Travelling, circa 1939-1945

- Summary:
- Wooden trunk, which was previously an ammunition chest, made circa 1939 - 1945. It was salvaged by Ukrainian refugee Orian Wenhrynowycz, from many littering the countryside whilst he was in a German transit camp waiting to come to Australia. Orian used this discarded munitions crate to transport his few possessions from a displaced person’s camp in Germany to Australia, when he migrated in 1948.
