- Wooden travelling trunk believed to have been used by James Neale and his wife Jane Maria Neale (nee Whitley). When they immigrated to Australia in 1854, shortly after their marriage in Dover in 1853. It was later used by their granddaughter to pack china when moving between Melbourne and Sydney.
- Description:
- Brown painted wooden travel trunk, with metal handles. It is paper lined inside and has a lock, which comes with a key.
