Description:
White, cotton, broderie anglaise, child's christening robe. The sleeves are long with broderie anglaise pattern running down the arms. There is a broderie anglaise frill at the end of the sleeve. The bodice consists of two broderie anglaise panels edged with frill. The skirt of the gown is long and falls in gathers from the waist. A broderie anglaise pattern consisting of embroidered holes in white cotton. The pattern becomes more elaborate toward the hem of the skirt. The back of the gown is open and has two round cream buttons as well as shoe string straps, two at the neck line and two at the waist.
