- Large pale yellow coloured rectangular paper wine bottle label used at H.W.H. Irvine's Great Western winery, 1905-1918. The label has gold border and depicts prize medals and the Irvine crest.
The lable is printed in black, gold and blue ink and reads: "Irvine's gold medal pure vintage London International 1873, Paris International 1900. Australian wines Melbonia-White White Hermitage. Hans Irvine & Co., Dowgate Hill, London, E.C. & Victoria, Australia.
Chablis was a type of dry, pale white wine. This type of label was attached to the front of large, cylindrical bottles. Bottles of Melbonia White had silver-bronze foil tops with two gold bands.
