Grey wool skirt, hand-stitched, circa 1940. Worn by a female patient(s) at a Victorian mental health hospital. May have been made by a patient.
Gathered skirt of grey wool with black and white striped cotton waist-band. Hand-stitched apart from top of waist-band. Opens by a short slit from the waist, which is tied fastened with white bias binding tapes on waist-band, each side of opening.
