Uniform cream calico combination of a top (bodice) and bottom (cruchless) worn by female patient at a mental health hospital in Victoria, Australia, circa 1860.
Cream calico combination with crutchless divided legs. Overall-style bodice attached at the waist, has broad (4cm) shoulder straps and closes by 2 metal buttons down the back. There is one narrow navy-blue stripe down the front and back of each leg.
