- Hat and gloves knitted by Aime Metsar, 1991. The pattern is an authentic Estonian belt pattern from Jarva-Jaani district. Wearing a hat and gloves was very popular in Estonia in the 1940s. They continued to be made and worn by Estonians in the refugee camps in Germany after World War II and brought into Australia by Estonian immigrants.

- Woollen hand knitted hat and gloves in black, white, yellow, red and green pattern. The gloves have red, patterned finger tips and long pattered fringed cuffs. The hat has a stand up edge.
