- Summary:
- White Table cloth with floral embroidery, given to Irene Soumilas by her mother when she came to visit her daughter in Australia in the 1970s. Irene migrated to Australia from the Greek Island of Lefkas in 1958 to be married in 1959. Her dowry travelled in two trunks by ship, although she travelled by air. The embroidery on this table cloth was done by Irene's mother.
- Description:
- Circular white table cloth with gold fringing. There is a repeated embroidered floral pattern in dark gold coloured thread and orange, red, dark and light blue around the edge of the cloth.
