Corset of pink cotton with embossed floral pattern, lace covered cups and cotton shoulder straps. Made circa 1950-1965. Collected from Steinberg's Drapery, 140-142 Elgin Street, Carlton, in January 1989.
Corset of pink cotton with embossed floral pattern and lace covered cups and cotton shoulder straps. Corset has two full length bone panels at back and four half length panels at front. There are two wide elastic panels at sides, and elastic V-inserts at front and back. Inside there is also independent corset panel with boning and elastic which covers stomach. It has its own set of seven hooks and eyes. Corset itself fastens with twenty-two hooks and eyes at front left.
