- Summary:
- Model of Stanhill Flats, Queens Road, Albert Park, Victoria. Designed by Frederick Romberg and built between 1945-1950. Robin Boyd notes in "Australia's Home" that the Stanhill Flats were completd in 1950 (p 274).
The model was made by Marc Baszewski (of Norman Day Pty Ltd) in 1989. It was donated to Museum Victoria for the exhibition 'Home Sweet Home: Changes in Victorian Domestic Architecture, 1839-1989'. - Description:
- Cardboard model on rectangular base, depicts a 10 storey high building constructed from reinforced concrete, steel and plate glass. Shops at ground level.
