- Summary:
- Piece of paper with the text of a headstone, which was erected by Alexander Panton in memory of his wife Isabella and his father, James Panton, and mother, Jane Smith. Alexander presumably sent the text to his brother Robert Panton who was living in Australia. In 1853 Robert Panton migrated to Australia from England with his wife Christina and their children. Unfortunately Christina and two of their children died shortly after their arrival.
