Leaflet - Rally for Refugees, 24 Mar 2002 Document Reg. No: HT 913

Leaflet advertising a rally for refugees to be held on Sunday 24 March 2002. The rally began at the Melbourne Town Hall at 1:30pm then participants marched to Treasury Gardens for a free concert. The rally was supported by a number of groups including the Victorian Trades Hall Council, Victorian Council of Churches, Victorian Council of Social Services, Refugee Action Collective, Friends of the Earth, Justice for Asylum Seekers, Amnesty International, Liberty Victoria, Islamic Council of Victoria, Arabic Australia Council, Catholic Commission for Justice, Development & Peace and the Australian Jewish Democratic Society.
Leaflet with extensive black printed text. The front page of the leaflet has a purple and red background with text in white, purple and yellow and an image of a heart surrounded by barbed wire at the top of the page.
