- Green gabtwist ski cap used by the donor in an Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) expedition to the Antarctic in 1958.
Part of a collection of Antarctic clothing and objects issued to Mr I.R.Mcleod, one of the ANARE'S most experienced geologists, for expeditions to the Antractic during the late 1950s and in the 1960s.
- Ski cap, made of green gabtwist material with black cotton lining. Peak at front; elongated into flat at back for weather protection. Chin straps extend from back flap.
