Summary:: Embroidered double bed sheet made in Italy, circa 1880-1920. The donor immigrated to Australia as a child, and remained here although her parents later returned to Italy. She remembered this sheet and two pillow shams from her grandmother's home in Italy during her childhood, and asked her mother to bring them to her on a visit to Australia. They have been passed down the generations in her family.
