Boudoir Gown - Tsitsopouli Bros, Light Blue, 1958 Reg. No: SH 000241
- Light blue bubble nylon boudoir gown made by the Tsitsopouli Bros in Athens in 1958, it formed part of the dowry of Irene Soumilas. Irene migrated to Australia from the Greek Island of Lefkas in 1958 to be married in 1959. Her dowry travelled in two trunks by ship, although she travelled by air. Many of her dowry items were made by local craftswomen, although other items were given to her by family and friends still living in Greece.
- Light blue full length bubble nylon boudoir gown. The gown has half length sleeves with white edging and a v neckline also with white edging. There is a pale blue bubble nylon ruffle around the shoulders and top of the gown and a pale blue satin ribbon tied in a bow attached to the top of the gown on the front.
