Baker's Peel - Handmade, 1934. Made by Mr Yelverton, in carpenter's shop at Mont Park, psychiatric hospital, Victoria Australia. Used like a large spatula to place loaves of bread in oven at Mont Park.
Baker's peel has very long thin handle, attached to flat shovel-shaped oblong board, the depth of which tapers slightly toward the end.
