Column six on page 4 and columns one and two on page 5 provide a report of the 1854 Melbourne Exhibition being held in the new building in William Street, Melbourne, to demonstrate the resources of the new colony, and which opened on this date. The Inauguration Ceremony of the Exhibition is described in an editorial, and additional articles provide a history and scope of the Exhibition.
