The Australian Children's Folklore Collection is unique in Australia, documenting contemporary children's folklore across Australia and in other countries reaching back to the 1870s. The Collection has a strong component of research material relating to Victoria.
Small cotton sack with drawstring closure. Sack is made from white cotton, and has a red rectangular line enclosing text. Printed on front and back. There is a length of cotton string for the drawstring through the top seam of the sack. Sack appears unused. There are brown stains on front and back. The back of the cotton fabric is coated, making the inside of the bag smooth and stiff. Acknowledgement: Australian Children's Folklore Collection, Museum Victoria.
