Table carved out of a packing case by a German Prisoner of War whilst at the Broadmeadows Internment Camp, circa 1939-1945, using a pen knife and a hot nail.
Table carved with pen knife and hot nail by German prisoner of war interned in Australia during World War II. The table face contains a carving of the Australian Coat of Arms surrounded by miscellaneous bordering motifs.
