Speaker - Pyrox Victor, circa 1940 Object Reg. No: SH 850530

Pyrox Victor speaker, possibly associated with a 16mm movie projector, used in a mental health hospital in Victoria, Australia, circa 1940. Made: Rola Co (Aust.) Pty Ltd.
Speaker is in an oil-cloth, brown, square carrycase. The speaker is made from papier-mache. It is cone-shaped and set in the centre of the front. It has a felt centre and a long electrical cord inside the case.
