- Framed oil painting, showing the head of a horse against a background of a white painted paling fence, white painted railings and a red hill. The painting is signed 'F.M.Collingridge' in the bottom right hand corner. The painting is framed in a gold-painted wooden frame. The wording 'Phar Lap' is painted on a cardboard label stuck to the frame at the bottom of the painting.
