- Box containing approximately 250 silver dental cusps or crowns or caps made by S S White, Dental Manufacturing Co., circa 1900. They were used at a mental health hospital, Lakeside Mental Hospital, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. They were used to restore the surface of damaged teeth.
- Description:
- Silver cusps for false crowns for teeth. Approximately 250 cusps set temporarily in a wax bed in a shallow paper covered plywood box with velvet-padded lid. The box also contains an oblong slab of stainless steel, possibly used as a palette.
